| Right before I got married I decided for our little private moment “first look” the morning of our wedding I wanted to give Suzy a locket with some photos of us inside. I wanted to get her a vintage bronze looking one, but searched for awhile and never found the right one. I ended up getting her a silver heart locket. It was somewhat generic but it still conveyed love. A few months after we got married we did a portrait event. Lori came and brought Suzy a little locket as kind of as a late wedding gift. That was when I was first introduced to her work. Suzy and I both fell in love with her jewelry, the vintage feel of her designs, and her tender heart as a person.
Last month Lori emailed me and asked if she could feature some of my photos in her line of lockets. From there the idea of a Lukas VanDyke line of designs and custom lockets was born. Below are a few of the first designs with a more vintage feel. From here we will be adding some more wedding related ones featuring rings, shoes, dresses, bouquets, and all those other beautiful details which will make perfect gifts for the bride & bridesmaids, bouquet decorations, keepsakes, Christmas, Birthday or Valentines gifts. We will also be offering custom lockets with a photo from any of my sessions inset on the front. |

Since I am a photographer I will be giving away the Vintage Rolleiflex Camera locket to the winner. To enter all you need to do is click here, vote on your favorite locket and enter your email. Every time someone else enters and puts your name in the “referred by” box you get another entry. So theoretically you could have dozens of entries depending how many people you send to the page. You can’t put referred for yourself, so whoever you put in the box will also get entered. Contest ends next Wednesday 11/3/10 at midnight. Good luck! | |
