David & Shogher {Engagement Session} – Lake Piru, California

The light spray of water on our faces, the sun shining down, the crisp smell of fall in the air. It was one of those perfect days where lounging in an old Bass boat out on the lake just felt right. I acted as tour guide and unobtrusive boat captain, while David & Shogher enjoyed the time together up front. David currently lives in Toronto, and Shogher here in Los Angeles, so their relationship has involved a good deal of long distance lately. But David was here for the weekend, they were together, and their sweet love was shining true.

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed getting to spend some time with you two. You both have the sweetest, caring personalities, and are completely adorable together. Suzy and I are really looking forward to the wedding, but I know you two are looking forward to it even more. It will be good to be together at last!

 

This photo is actually kind of funny. We were out in the middle of the lake and there was the floating restroom. I thought it would be cool to hop out and get some photos from a different vantage point. I tied the boat up with my amazing knot skills and started taking photos. Next thing I know David and Shogher are floating off in the distance. I guess those knot tying skills aren’t so amazing.
