Featured Post Wedding Session: Glamour & Grace

What’s not to love about a shoot out in the middle of the desert at a Rocket Launch Base???!

I was so, so excited when Megan over at Glamour & Grace wanted to feature this Post Wedding Session with Carol and Scott. This was back in the days when I was first learning how to shoot… yes, it was back even before my last name was VanDyke. Calm down, calm down. I’m a VanDyke now.

This shoot has a special place in my heart for two reasons. One, Lukas used one of these pictures in the proposal book he designed to ask me to marry him (that’s me in the bottom corner). Aww! Two, Carol later informed me that Scott knew Lukas and I were going to get married. After the shoot he told her, “Lukas would be a fool not to marry Suzy.  It’s not every woman who loves to run around in the desert. You just don’t let someone like that get away.” Thanks Scott! I’m so glad he didn’t let me get away ; )
