Happy Monday everyone! Before I get on to the rest of this post I just need to say I LOVE Mondays! There is something about the start of a new week with all the possibilities and unexpected in store that make it thrilling! God is good!
That said, I think I should explain the below image:
First, I am keeping my upcoming January workshop relatively small; which means it is close to filling up. However, as of right now I still have room for a couple more people. It will be great chance to learn how to use your SLR. For those of you who already know how to shoot, the second half will be with a bride & groom down in LA and will make for some GREAT portfolio images.
Second, I decided instead of using one of my normal models I am going to open up the opportunity to the general public. Yup that’s right, I’m looking for a bride and groom to be part of the upcoming workshop, and thought I would give one of my readers a chance for some free fine art photos. To be eligible you just need to like to smile, feel comfortable in front of a bunch of cameras, and be open from 12:0opm – 6:00pm January 29th. Ladies you could bring your own dress, or depending on what size you are, we have a few choices for you to borrow. Guys, a tux/suit or anything dressy and trendy is fine, the more interesting the better.
Like the idea? Well here is what you need to do. #1 send me an email (Lukas@LukasVanDyke.com) with a full length photo of yourself and husband/wife (preferably in the wedding dress). #2 in five sentences or less let me know why I should pick you.
