When my friend Christy of One Handspun Day approached me with the idea of doing an inspiration shoot revolving around what would happen if a museum curator fell in love with an artist, my interest was definitely piqued… I mean, what WOULD happen?! I was so excited to see all the little details she came up with, and getting to photograph the results of such a fabulous team working on this concept was just amazing. And it was featured yesterday in Utterly Engaged online magazine – eek!
One Handspun Day not only came up with the concept, but was behind all the styling and amazingly detailed paper goods. Ever since I saw her cute feather details incorporated into even the envelopes, I have pretty much been on a feather craze. Samantha Santana of Primary Petals helped with styling, the GORGEOUS floral arrangements, as well as vase and glassware rentals. The details in the terrariums were sooo pretty! I seriously want them all over my house! Big thank you to This & That Vintage Rentals for the vintage furniture, Antiquaria for the lovely vintage table settings, and Vanilla and Chocolate Cookies for the yummy looking cookies. Beautiful faces by Denise did an amazing job as always on the makeup, and thank you to Alex and Kevin for modeling! Last but not least our friends the Yodsukars did a very cool behind-the-scenes video so make sure to check that out here!
Which detail is your favorite?
Make sure to check out the whole feature on Utterly Engaged! Now on to some more glorious eye candy.
