For us, this was easily the wedding of the year. When our dear friend Katrina moved back to Germany from going to school here in the U.S, she assured us she would be back soon. Lukas and I both wondered. A few months later she met someone special, and a few months after that, their love was committed and a wedding was announced. What a privilege it was to fly to Berlin, Germany for such an occasion as this.
Staged in the center of downtown Berlin, Marco and Katrina were married in an ancient gothic cathedral. Following the wedding was a reception held on a quaint old farm out in the rolling hills of the German country side, complete with horses, pigs and goats. Their simple rustic decorations added to the already gorgeous barn, and included handmade lavender jam (Lukas and I have never eaten more jam in our life) decorated with a silhouette of the couple, and a cupcake bar. From the historic courtyard boasting the famous Brandenburg gate, to the romantic horse and wagon ride through the country side, it could not have made for a more perfect day! Thank you Marco and Katrina for flying Suzy and I all the way over there to capture it all! You both are fabulous!

CarliJean - Lovely!!! Lukas, thank you for putting so many photos up, it is really nice to see how the day went even though many of us couldn’t be there…They are wonderful photos…
Katrina, miss you.
Micah - Ohhhh my goodness gracious! So incredibly BEAUTIFUL!!! The three that absolutely took my breath away were the one with them being showered with rose petals (she looks so happy!), the one of them in the back of the carriage (beautiful beyond words!), and the one of her on the stone steps with her veil trailing behind her.
Terrific job, you guys!
Sam - Those were the most epic photos of the year… None disappointing, I have been anticipating this album for months. Nice job Lukas.
