I’ve only hung out with Rhian and Sarah a couple times, but I feel like we have a special connection, and here’s why. When we meet with new clients to chat about weddings down in LA, more often than not we will walk down a block or two to my favorite dessert/coffee shop. Its a trendy little place called Syrup Desserts. So when we first met we all walked down there, and too my surprise Rhian and Sarah had been there before. In fact they had been there a good number of times, and it was the actual coffee shop where they had first decided to start dating. That’s connection #1.
Second, as we got to talking Rhian had listened to a whole sermon series on relationships preached by my good friend and pastor Rick Holland. Rhian and Sarah have never been to my church, or even met my pastor in person but it was super cool we shared all the same inside jokes and applied all the same principles to our dating realtionship.
Finally, when we did the engagement photos a few days ago we stopped by this old bridge out in Pasadena. Rhian showed me the exact spot he proposed to Sarah. I know it’s cheesy, but I even asked them to re-create the scene and act it all out for me, just so I could get the full effect! I love it! So now I got to see where they started dating, where they got engaged, and we are super excited to get to be there for their wedding!
